CVS.......Saving Big Time!!!

I have been researching how so many people are saving at CVS. So, I decided that I can do this too. I started clipping coupons and watching the weekly CVS circular. Last night I decided to make my first try at the coupon/extra bucks thing. I only bought three items but the savings was awesome. Here is a recount of what I purchased.

1 Shampoo (was on sale)
1 Conditioner (was on sale)
1 Toothpaste

Total Regular Price $11.87
Total Sale Discount $2.22
Total Coupon Discount $3.00
Total Extra Bucks Used $5.00
MY GRAND TOTAL OUT OF POCKET WAS $1.65
Total Savings $10.22

I am a believer now. I will continue to work at saving at CVS but now I have to start working on the grocery store items. I have to admit that I am terible at using coupons at the grocery store. With the prices of everything going up so much and with our large debt I have no choice but to start working to save as much as possible in every area I can.

Please feel free to share the areas you are able to save in your household. I would love to learn from you.

Wow that is a big savings! I'm starting to look at circulars now and coupons.
